The challenge undertaken by Louis Pion is to increase sales through distribution in brick and mortar business as well as through e-commerce, emphasizing the importance of the brands’ stores at the center of their strategy.
The fashion watchmaker, which offers 4,500 products, decided to rely on Smart Traffik's Ship-From-Store solution. The goal was to consolidate both the national warehouse’s inventory and the store network’s inventory to ensure availability of products, reduce delays and environmental impact.
Over the last six weeks of 2017, about half a million euros have been generated thanks to the ship-from-store feature. In December, 40% of e-commerce sales were fulfilled by the ship-from-store option, compared to 60% of e-commerce revenue fulfilled by the national warehouse.
“The implementation of the widget only a few days before Black Friday was a great success within the network, says Adrien Martin, Supply Chain Manager at Royal Quartz/Louis Pion. Providing revenue for the network, the interconnection of our physical network with the e-commerce sphere generates value in every way”.
